Bata brings ‘Power’ sportswear store to India

Global footwear giant, Bata has opened its first exclusive store for sportswear and lifestyle brand ‘Power’ in the national capital region of Noida.
 

The store is located at the Great India Place Mall in the busy city of Noida and is spread across an area of 750 square feet. The store will house latest collections from the brand that include a range of shoes, apparel, bags, and accessories.

The Power store was inaugurated by Bollywood actress and fitness enthusiast Diana Penty. “It is a pleasure to be associated with Bata to unveil this first & exclusive ‘Power’ store in India. I am really excited at the range of choices, designs, and technologies that Power has now brought into India,” the actress said at the launch.

Commenting on the launch of its first India store, Alexis Nasard, Global CEO, Bata Shoe Organization in a statement said, “Designed in Canada, Power is an iconic brand world over, and building exclusive retail touch points for Power with an international retail environment is a key aspect of our growth strategy. The active lifestyle trend across India presents a big opportunity for the Power brand. The choice of India for our global launch of Power sportswear format tells of our long-lasting commitment to the Indian market.”

Power is an international sportswear brand from Bata which is headquartered in Canada with stores across the globe. The brand is endorsed in India by the opening batsman of the Indian Woman’s cricket team, Smriti Mandhana.
