Asics debuts youth-oriented sports apparel line Jyuni

Asics has revealed its latest line in sports apparel line, ‘Jyuni.' Its 3-piece ‘White Collection’ line will see an advance launch in Japan on January 27th exclusively at the Asics Store Tokyo and at the Tsutaya Tokyo Roppongi pop-up.

In the latest step towards global development, the company is targetting young consumers with the new line, inspired by the urban versatility characteristic of the Japanese capital and ideas born of constant flux, a nod to the fast-moving fashion landscape in the era of Gen Z. The time reference is concretely referenced in the collection's name: 'Jyuni', or 'twelve,' in English.

Channeling minimalism and simplicity, the all-white collection in stretch fabric combines practical functionality with traditional Japanese aesthetics. It is comprised of a hooded jacket, shorts, and a t-shirt, ranging in price from 10,000 to 27000 yen (approximately $90 to $240).

From February 10th, the line will launches in locations such as New York, Paris, and London.
