Amazon expands its global selling programme for Indian exporters

Global e-commerce giant Amazon has expanded its global selling programme with the launch of its B2B (business to business) programme for Indian exporters to help them connect with customers across its international marketplaces.

Under the new programme, B2B sellers, manufacturers and exporters will be able to reach thousands of business customers across Amazon’s international marketplaces like US, Britain, Germany, France, Japan and India among many others. The company already has on boarded over 2000 exporters for the B2B global selling programme.
 
Indian exporters registered with Amazon business global selling program will get an opportunity to expand its customer base globally and enter newer markets for growth.

“Amazon Business’s Global Selling program will get the sellers in front of decisions makers of Fortune 500 companies as well as medium and small corporations across the world,” Peeyush Nahar, Vice President B2B Marketplace Business, Amazon said in a statement.
 
“To support tapping this excellent market of business customers for Indian goods globally, the program offers benefits to the Indian sellers such as discounted referral fees for bulk orders, business price and quantity discounts targeted for business customers, single selling account etc,” he added.
 
The B2C Global Selling programme, which was launched in India in 2015, has over 32,000 exporters offering more than 90 million made-in-India products to customers across 10 global marketplaces.
