Aeropostale ends exclusive partnership with Amazon.in, goes online on other platforms

As per the partnership with Amazon, Aeropostale was launched exclusively on Amazon.in in April 2016. According to a top company official from Aeropotsale India, the contract is finished now, and the brand is now able to sell on other platforms.

“This was a mutually agreed partnership with Amazon that led Amazon.in to be our exclusive partner for a year. Now the tenure is  over and we are available on platforms including Jabong, Flipkart besides Amazon,” Sumit Dhingra, CEO, Aéropostale (India) told the Economic Times.

Aeropostale entered India in November 2015 following a licensing agreement with Arvind Lifestyle. Presently, Aeropostale operates 18 stores across India.

Aeropostale is present in 20 countries across the world. Just in the US and Canada, the brand operates on its own.
