Actress Gauahar Khan to launch clothing line

The Bollywood actress and dancer Gauahar Khan has announced that she will be launching a clothing line after walking at India Beach Fashion Week (IBFW).

Gauahar Khan walked at IBFW last weekend for the designer Ken Ferns, a designer who has attended all five seasons of the event. Ferns’ collection was in collaboration with Romedy Now, an Indian television channel. The collection was entitled “Love.Laugh.Live” and Gauahar Khan was the show’s headliner.

When interviewed after closing the runway show Khan took the opportunity to announce that she too is planning to launch a fashion line. Khan said: “In India the demand for fashion and people wanting to be fashionable is very high. It is great if a TV channel comes up with a fashion line but also it is going to be competitor to me because I am coming up with my own fashion line.”

However, the actress did not give any concrete details about when her line will be launching and where it will be available.

Khan recently starred in the Vidya Balan film Begun Jaan and is also well-known for her dancing. The actress also works as a brand ambassador for Gionee sunglasses.
