Acronym's Errolson Hugh has retweeted news initially posted by DJ Teki Latex, confirming that his four-year partnership with Nike's NikeLab ACG is coming to an end.

According to the tweets that were retweeted by Hugh, Nike will be taking its tech-heavy NikeLab ACG (all conditions gear) collection in a "retro ACG sportswear" direction, a departure from Hugh's integrated techwear approach, also seen in his technology-focused Acronym brand.

Hugh did, however, confirm on Twitter that he has "One more season left (HO’18)."

Nike recruited Hugh in 2014 to breathe new life into its ACG line, a 25-year-old sub-brand initially created for the mountain and outdoors lifestyle segment, which had not received much creative focus for years.

Hugh created NikeLab, a fashion-forward tech concept that revitalized the ACG brand and went on to deliver repeated sell-out apparel and footwear collections.

In the initial tweets that sparked the announcement, Teki Latex claimed that NikeLab ACG is "arguably the coolest thing Nike has now all thanks to [Errolson Hugh]," a testament to the line's popularity.

Neither Hugh nor Nike have disclosed whether they will continue to collaborate in the future on one-off releases or future projects.
