​India’s Fastrack loses head of marketing

Hemal Panchamia, the head of marketing of Indian fashion brand Fastrack has stepped down.

According to local media reports, the company is currently looking for a replacement for Panchamia, who was with Fastrack since its beginning, over 11 years. His exit was confirmed by Suparna Mitra, CMO, watches & accessories division at Titan Company, to ETRetail. 

The youth-oriented fashion label Fastrack launched in 1998 as a sub-brand of watch label Titan. Over the years it has grown into an accessories brand with over 150 stores across India. It belongs to Indian holding company Tata Group, which comprises over 100 operating companies in seven business sectors.
